Draw a line horizontally & then put a vertical line on each end & one in the middle, I see the Republicans being a bit to the left of center but the liberal run Democrats much further to the left, a wide gap between the two where most people are in the center where the constitution is. Saw similar on Beck. I believe the Republicans may have “had” to move some left to remain a choice.

IMO with the New World Order & leaders who have said it. I think their goal was an orderly world but used the wrong terminology thus spooked people. BUT do think there are powers that be that want to dominate money & have power control issues. I think both Dems & Repubs agreed to this “New World Order” earlier but divided on how to achieve it. My belief is that the left wants to go way into Socialism & the right is still fighting against. So believe that the Democrats are more about a New World Order & the GOP about an orderly world. But what if NWO is true with both major parties involved?
The Democratic Party is the old in favor of slavery party during Civil War Lincoln times. It would appear they have not let go of that concept. It took the Republican Party to end that old era. I see a correlation with the old Dem Party & where they want to take this country now. So are we a divided nation very similar to the Republicans & Democrats at odds against slavery of a different form? Could correlate back to the Revolutionary War.
True blue Dems need to take back party. IMO Democratic Party has been taken over by far left liberals & socialist party. The GOP needs to clean up act too but not near as much.

Do not yet believe that the far left liberal Dems or Obama are evil but believe that they are very misguided & may not realize the ramifications of going too far left. A question to ponder is why the Republican Hand Up approach has not really been given a fair try since it closely matches the words of Benjamin Franklin. “I am for doing good to the poor, but…I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. I observed…that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, & of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, & became richer.”
My belief is that those who are far left liberal are misguided due to their background, whom they were associated with or surrounded by & the environment where certain principles were instilled & by how the media & educational system is biased causing brainwashing of too many in the population. Are some far left or just think they are? I believe most people on all sides in this country wants the ideal of non-poverty & good for all but believe the left Democratic Party wants to achieve that through socialistic means while the right Republican Party proposes adhering closer to the U.S.A Constitution. We are not Europe & do not want to be like Europe.
A problem with way too much of a division in country. How do we who are neighbors, friends, associates etc. reach a resolution? Possibly identifying what our basic agreements are. I believe as a country versus being split 2 ways, we are actually split in 3 major directions. The Dem, GOP, & those who have had it with both. Have a situation where the “game” is demonize other sides that our elected government officials & others taught. So need to reach a consensus which will address the majority. The Constitution.
My opinion is that first have to vote out many Democrats & Rinos and get conservative Republicans back in control then work on the Republicans to move to the center. Avoid Coffee Party is much about liberals and progressives that has hurt our country.
An answer could be merging top 3rd parties aligned with the Constitution & conservativism INTO Republican Party & replace Democratic Party with another close to the Constitution.

Support Republican Party & Constitutional Republic. Our country appears to be at a cross roads where we either become much more socialistic or we take our country back & get much closer to the Constitution which the USA was founded on. Also support Tea Parties as maybe a feasible viable third party can grow out of it to replace Democratic Party & because GOP also needs to shape up. Need to get business out of government & government out of business. I believe some people think they are Independent because they have believed lies for many years about Republicans. For some issues, they are much more aligned with Democratic Party. With Obama they were likely in support because they saw the Democratic Party as opposite to what they opposed. When the Democrats lost ground they can say they are an Independent to “protect credibility”. Believe some are now torqued at the Dems to some degree because they did not go much further into socialism. That does not make that person an Independent.
Independent is an interesting political phenomenon as believe those people truly do not know “who they are” & will vote more based on some issues & not the global picture. I think many are closer to Libertarians because they want social issues closer to far left democratic party liberal social issues but also want fiscal responsibility. How is it possible to be fiscally responsible when adding more & more social programs? The Libertarian party may be closer to the Dem Party than the GOP with social issues? The Libertarians concerns me with stance with our nations’s security & fits closer with the Dems. But there are things I like about them. Tea Party is I believe about many who do not “know who they are”, torqued Republicans, Dems who do not want to go that far left & those who want a mixture of Dem party social & Republican style security & fiscal responsiblity.
Republican Party is the closest to the Constitution but have issues that need fixed. I believe they “had” to move more left to remain a viable option or we may have been much more socialistic years ago. The same with mess with too much business mixed with politicians & vice versa. Once that started it just increased over the years with both sides in order to “compete”. Both at fault. Could be Republicans went down that road again to be a viable choice? I think the reason too many people consider themselves to be Independent is due to confusion as to who is who as far as if “left or right” to keep at least two parties. I think confusion maybe due to the Republicans over years moving more left to “compete” with Dem party. Thus over time did more damage? If they had not maybe we would be much more socialistic today. It is no wonder why so many people do not “know who they are” when it comes to politics. If they opened their eyes very wide I believe would see like many others there truly is a wide gap between the two major parties now & it is time to fold up the Democratic Party as they now belong to the far left liberal Socialists/Marxists/Communists/Fascists etc.
Here is a conundrum I have had which I believe is the root cause of why I once thought I was more Independent at one time. I believe that our creator created the earth for all to live effectively & our government was based on that. If looking at the global picture, something is not right that some people or organizations/corporations have control over food, water, basic human needs in which to exert power over all of us & keep the masses poorer. What is part of nature should never have been given so much power to a few. I believe everyone should have basic needs addressed because it should be all our land & basic resources. That part I can agree with the true blue Dems about social issues, but because of how our system is setup to go much further left is very dangerous.
There has to be a way to help everyone in this world with a free enterprise system & the way our Constitution was setup. To me it goes back to the Hand Up approach (Benjamin Franklin) which is temporary to help all people get the aid they need but once done then it is done it is not a burden to society for long term. And revising/reforming the private sector. I could envision reforming some service type corporations where they cannot keep getting wealthier at expense of people. Every other type of business, they are free to get rich, what the market will bear. Goes back to what others have said that we all want the health care & other social issues addressed & fixed just not the socialistic way where the government gains more power & control over us. That is where we on all sides can “meet in the middle” the Constitution & not the socialist way. Even though some may argue that government should not force service type companies like utilities, food, etc. to be regulated (not takeover) more I think that is the answer as believe we all as God’s creation have a right to basic human needs & not controlled by government or big business monopoly.
